STATEMENT OF FAITH

We Believe..

Matthew 16:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 & John 3:16-17

...there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That Jesus is Christ the only begotten Son of God our Lord and Savior.  (No Creed but CHRIST; No Book but the BIBLE; No Name but the Devine Name (CHRISTIAN) meaning follower of CHRIST.

... that every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23, 7: 18, Genesis 2:7

... that forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord.
John 3:16-17, 1st Corinthians 2: 2-5

... that those accepting Christ should repent of sin (Turning away from and acknowledging their Sins), confess their faith in Christ Jesus, and be baptized into Him as their Lord and Savior (immersion).
Romans 6:1-7, 10:9, Acts 2:38, 22:16, Matthew 28:18-20 (The Great Commission), 1st Peter 3:21, Ephesians 2:8-9).

...that the Bible is the only inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God, containing God’s will for our lives. The Bible is our only guide for faith and practice. Therefore, we have resolved to pattern our congregation after the example of the New Testament church.
2 Timothy 3:16, 2nd Peter 1:21

...that the Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to save the lost and edify the saved.
Colossians 1:18, 28; Matthew 28:18-20 & Ephesians 4:11-16

... in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory, reigning forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

... that the terms of membership in the church are the same as the terms of salvation: faith in Christ, confession of Christ as Lord, repentance of sins & immersion into Christ.

... we must persevere / continue in the Faith (Spiritual act of worship), growing in our service and knowledge of God.
Romans 12: 1-2, 1st Corinthians 2:2-5, 4:1

... that the Body of Christ should assemble on the Lord’s Day to share in the Lord’s Supper for it’s a memorial with the specified purposes of bringing to mind the sacrifice Christ made to atone for our sins whereby He instituted a New Covenant in His blood; and to corporately testify of the Resurrection and the belief that Christ will return just as He said.
Luke 22:17-20; 1st Corinthians 10:16, 11:26, Acts 20:7

...that the creation of marriage is between man and woman as defined in Genesis 2:23-24 and supported in Genesis 2:18 and Genesis 2:20. Marriage is further defined in 1st Corinthians Chapter 7 and Ephesians 5:22-23, 25. As biblical principles that form a framework for a God blessed marriage: reference Ephesians 5:22-33 and Romans 1:20-32.

PRAYER REQUEST

Every Sunday a portion of our service is devoted to bringing forth both public as well as privately unspoken prayer requests. We believe in the power of prayer and hope to pray for you too.

COMMUNION

Communion is a sacred time in our service where we quietly reflect on what Jesus did when he died on the cross for our sins.

INVITATION

When visiting our church you are always welcome to come forward at the end to transfer membership, express a need to be baptized etc. We love to celebrate with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
